Negotiations discussing the conclusion of the relevant agreement took place in Bucharest. Official delegations from both countries reached a principled agreement on issues related to income taxation and preventing tax evasion, as noted by ministry representatives.
The signing of the document will occur after the completion of all necessary procedures established by the legislation of each party.
The agreement aims to protect residents of one country from discriminatory taxation in the other country, and also includes measures to combat tax evasion and abuses, as well as the development of information exchange between the competent authorities of both countries.
