Ravshanbek Sabirov, head of the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, organized a working meeting with participants representing both ministries and residents of the free economic zone "Bishkek." The agency's press service reported that the main topic of discussion was the relocation of residents to a new territory.
During the meeting, important aspects concerning the provision of necessary engineering and transport infrastructure, as well as the creation of conditions for the uninterrupted operation of enterprises and attracting investments, were analyzed.
As a result of the meeting, key steps and priority actions for organizing the relocation were identified, taking into account the interests of both the state and the residents, as well as the timelines for implementing infrastructure projects.
Coordinating the actions of government structures and developing agreed solutions to minimize risks and ensure the consistent execution of organizational activities were also important topics of the meeting.
Ravshanbek Sabirov noted that the state aims to ensure transparency and a phased approach to the relocation process.
“It is extremely important for us that the process of relocating the residents of the SEZ 'Bishkek' is carried out transparently and in stages, while maintaining the stability of their operations. We will actively support this process in close cooperation with the relevant ministries and residents to ensure the protection of their interests and the stability of investment activity,” he added.
