This year, 300 electric charging stations will be installed in Kyrgyzstan
A meeting was held in the Kyrgyz Republic between the Minister of Energy Talaybek Ibraev and the CEO of the South Korean company "Blue Networks," No Sun Yong. During the discussion, the parties focused on the development of infrastructure for electric charging stations and the introduction of new technologies into the country. Mr. No Sun Yong reported that by July 2026, their company plans to install 300 charging devices for electric vehicles in Kyrgyzstan. The South Korean partners also shared their experience, noting that in the Republic of Korea, they have already successfully put 3,500 similar stations into operation.

Additionally, the meeting participants discussed the possibility of implementing projects for the construction of solar power plants and the development of renewable energy sources. Attention was also given to the digitalization of the energy sector: the company has developed special software for managing infrastructure. As a result, an agreement was reached to transfer to the Ministry of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic the necessary access keys and logins to this software package to enhance transparency and efficiency in monitoring.

The Ministry of Energy emphasized that these initiatives are of strategic importance for transitioning to a "green" economy and increasing the investment attractiveness of the country. The implementation of these plans will contribute to strengthening partnership relations between Kyrgyzstan and South Korea, as well as accelerating the transition to environmentally friendly transport.
