Korean company plans to install 300 electric car charging stations

Today in Bishkek, a meeting took place where the Minister of Energy, Talaybek Ibraev, discussed future cooperation with the CEO of Blue Networks, No Sun Yeon.

During the negotiations, the possibilities for developing electric charging infrastructure and implementing innovative energy solutions in Kyrgyzstan were discussed. In particular, it was agreed that by July 2026, the company plans to install 300 charging stations for electric vehicles.

Representatives of Blue Networks also noted that there are already 3,500 charging stations operating in South Korea, which confirms their experience and technological competence in this field.

The parties expressed their readiness to expand cooperation, including projects for the construction of solar power plants and the development of renewable energy sources.
Issues of sector digitization were also discussed. The company presented developed software designed to manage the charging infrastructure. Following the negotiations, an agreement was reached to provide the Ministry of Energy of Kyrgyzstan with access keys and logins to ensure monitoring and effective management of the system.

The Ministry of Energy emphasized the importance of these projects for strengthening the green economy, increasing investment attractiveness, and developing Kyrgyz-Korean partnership.

Cooperation with Blue Networks Co., Ltd. began to develop in 2024. In August 2024, a memorandum of understanding was signed between OJSC "Chakan HPP" and the company regarding the joint preparation and operation of charging stations.

In 2025, the parties signed a framework agreement for the establishment of a manufacturing enterprise for the assembly and installation of charging stations in Kyrgyzstan.

As a result of these agreements, a joint venture, LLC "Revo KJ", was established, and the launch of the charging station assembly plant is scheduled for April 2026.
