According to analysts from Saudi Arabia, if the conflict surrounding Iran is not resolved by the end of April, the price of oil could exceed $180 per barrel. This is reported by The Wall Street Journal.

Currently, Saudi Arabia is selling oil through the Red Sea at a price of approximately $125 per barrel. Given the reduction in storage supplies, quotes could rise to levels of $138-140.

If the Strait of Hormuz remains blocked, by mid-April the price of oil could reach $150 per barrel, and in the following weeks there is a possibility of rising to $165 and even $180.

It is worth noting that the historical record prices for Brent and WTI crude oil were set in July 2008, at around $147 per barrel.
