According to information provided by the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China in Kyrgyzstan, Liu Jiangping, the volume of imports of goods from Central Asia to China increased by 14% compared to the previous year, reaching 35.1 billion US dollars. The ambassador also noted that the structure of imports is becoming increasingly diverse. The volume of supplies is growing not only for traditional resources but also for chemical products, metallurgical products, and agricultural goods.
In addition, more than 4,000 companies from Central Asia have gained the opportunity to enter the Chinese market. "The supply of over 100 types of agricultural and food products has been officially permitted, and more and more high-quality goods from our region are appearing on the tables of Chinese consumers," added Liu Jiangping.
