The agricultural sector of Kyrgyzstan awaits investments from Azerbaijan
The meeting between the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic and the leadership of the Azerbaijan-Kyrgyz Development Fund (AKDF) took place. The main topic of discussion was attracting investments in the agricultural sector and processing.

Deputy Minister Bekten Bekbolotov and Head of the Project Implementation and PPP Sector Iskak Anarbekov represented the ministry, while the fund was represented by co-chairs Zamir Osmonov and Iqbal Babaev, as well as board members Talgat Kyshybaev and Ilgar Guliyev, and advisor to the co-chairs Musa Dzhamanbaev.

The parties discussed the current state of Kyrgyzstan's agricultural sector and identified key areas for cooperation. Special attention was given to modernizing production processes and implementing innovative technologies. In particular, projects for the development of meat processing, animal feed production, industrial potato cultivation, and the construction of modern greenhouses were considered.

During the negotiations, AKDF representatives shared their experience in implementing investment projects and supporting businesses. The ministry, in turn, proposed various areas for cooperation within the framework of its "100 Projects of the Ministry" program.

As a result of the meeting, it was decided to continue regular consultations for a more detailed elaboration of joint initiatives aimed at strengthening food security and enhancing the export potential of Kyrgyzstan's agricultural products.
