- As of the end of December 2025, inflation in Kyrgyzstan stood at 9.4%. Since the beginning of the current year, the situation with prices has remained unchanged. This was stated by the Deputy Chairman of the National Bank, Azat Kozubekov, during a press conference.

He noted that in the first 16 days of January, the consumer price index increased by 0.6%.

According to the deputy chairman, there is a slowdown in the growth of prices for food products within the inflation structure. At the same time, prices for services and non-food goods remain at a high level, which is related to increased domestic demand and secondary effects.

“In 2025, the National Bank made the decision to triple the key interest rate from 9% to 11%. We continue to create such monetary conditions that will help us maintain price stability and achieve our key goal of keeping inflation at 5-7% in the medium term,” he added.
