Results of 2025 were summarized at the Ministry of Finance board meeting

At the meeting of the Ministry of Finance board, attended by Adylbek Kasymaliev, the results of the department's work for 2025 were announced.

The head of the government emphasized that the Ministry of Finance is finishing the year with impressive indicators, and the country's economy is demonstrating stable growth. He noted that compared to 2020, the budget of Kyrgyzstan has increased almost fivefold.

“In 2020, the consolidated budget was about 247.8 billion soms, and by 2025 it reached approximately 1 trillion 101 billion soms,” Kasymaliev reported.

One of the significant factors for this growth he mentioned was the revenues from Kumtor, which was transferred to state management. From 2021 to 2025, about 5 billion 115 million US dollars (over 400 billion soms) came into the country from Kumtor's operations. Approximately 1 billion 176 million US dollars (about 100.6 billion soms) was directed to the budget through taxes and other payments, and an additional approximately 441 million US dollars (about 38.2 billion soms) was received in the form of dividends.

Kasymaliev also noted that the budget growth was supported by the following factors:

an increase in gross domestic product (GDP) from 8.3 billion dollars in 2020 to more than 22.6 billion dollars in 2025;

optimization of tax administration, which led to an increase in the revenues of the State Tax Service from 78 billion to 304.3 billion soms;

a sixfold increase in customs revenues — from 28.9 billion to 157.4 billion soms;

a growth in non-tax revenues by 8–9 times, reaching 189.4 billion soms;

an increase in activity in the services sector, the volume of which exceeded 1 trillion soms.
