During the meeting, emphasis was placed on the possibility of using railway infrastructure as an alternative and accessible means of transportation for the residents of the capital.
The meeting gathered representatives from various institutions, including the Department of Transport, the municipal enterprise "Center for Digital Technologies," as well as the Passenger Transport Management of the state enterprise "National Company 'Kyrgyz Temir Jolu'," which is under the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Participants also discussed the launch of new bus routes that will provide comfortable transfers for passengers from bus stations and railway stations to different areas of the city. Additionally, issues related to the digitalization of transport were discussed, including the implementation of GPS monitoring for trains and the display of the current schedule for railway and public transport in the mobile application "My City."
At the end of the meeting, instructions were given to the responsible organizations, and further steps were outlined for the development of sustainable and alternative modes of passenger transport in Bishkek.
