The exemption for the import of raw cane sugar will be in effect until December 31, 2026, allowing the import of up to 20,000 tons of the product without paying duties.
To take advantage of this customs exemption, a document confirming the industrial purpose of the raw sugar must be provided. It should specify both the importers and the processing enterprises using this product.
It should be noted that the imported raw sugar is intended exclusively for processing within the country. The export of white sugar produced from this raw material is strictly prohibited.
