At the same time, the share of the mining sector was 9.2%, while the production of electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning was 10.2%. The water supply, wastewater treatment, and recycling sector, as well as the production of secondary raw materials, accounted for only 0.9%.
The production volume in the mining sector in 2025 amounted to 73 billion 355.8 million soms, and the physical volume index increased by 114.2% compared to 2024. In December, the production volume was 8 billion 020.2 million soms, with a physical volume index of 104.1%.
The increase in production volumes was made possible by the following indicators:
- other minerals — an increase of 40.2%,
- metal ores — an increase of 21.6%,
- coal — an increase of 10.3%.
However, it is worth noting that in 2025, the production volumes of crude oil and natural gas decreased by 12.1%.
