The works were financed from various sources, and the distribution of funds is as follows:
- according to the title list — 328 km,
- from capital investments — 1084.6 km,
- within the framework of investment projects — 133.2 km.
In addition, the country opened 11 new bridges.
Key projects financed from the state budget include the reconstruction and construction of highways: Balykchy–Bokonbaev–Karakol, Naryn–Bayetov, Ala-Buka–Zhany-Bazar–Kirovka, a section of the Suusamyr road on the Bishkek–Osh route, as well as Safarovka–Barpy. Work is also underway on five additional sites of the alternative North–South route. The construction of the national significance highway Barskoon–Bedel has been launched using the country’s internal resources.
In Bishkek, the ministry has begun the construction of a six-lane road on the northern bypass street and two-level transport interchanges, for which temporary access has already been opened.
Among the current investment projects, the construction of the highways Suusamyr–Talas–Taraz, Korumdu–Balbai–Baatyr, Barskoon–Karakol, as well as a 748-meter tunnel on the Bishkek–Osh road can be noted, as stated in the report.
