A complaint was received by the agency, in which a citizen “Sh.J.” stated that, posing as an employee of the traffic police security service, she offered services for vehicle registration and obtaining a state license plate for a certain amount.
The vehicle in question, a “Toyota Avensis,” had previously been registered in the Russian Federation. For her services, the suspect received 57,000 soms.
Payment was made through an electronic wallet, after which the applicant received a forged vehicle registration certificate via the WhatsApp messenger.
Additionally, the suspect left the state license plate at a gas station located near the “Dostuk” border crossing.
Based on these events, a criminal case has been initiated under Articles 209 (Fraud) and 379 (Document Forgery) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The citizen “Sh.J.” has been detained by the investigative authorities. During a search of her vehicle, a forged vehicle registration certificate and other documents were found and seized.
Currently, investigative activities are ongoing.
