In response, the deputy general director of Gazprom Kyrgyzstan LLC, Arzymat Aldayev, stated that the gasification project has been ongoing for many years, and previously gas was supplied through these pipes from Kazakhstan, while now it comes from Russia.
The Minister of Energy, Talaybek Ibraev, added that the possibility of gasification in the Talas region is currently being considered.
He emphasized that the largest main pipeline, through which gas enters the country, runs through the Talas region.
The discussion also touched upon the activities of the Ministry of Energy and its prospective plans for the development of the sector.
