Turumbekov noted that previously, obtaining OSAGO was only possible at the offices of insurance companies, but over time this process has been fully automated.
“Today, the OSAGO policy can be issued through mobile applications, the “Tunduk” platform, and the websites of both our organization and private insurance companies. Now citizens have the opportunity to obtain a policy remotely, without visiting an office,” he explained.
According to him, the transition to digital technologies was necessary to improve the accessibility of mandatory insurance, as the state, by implementing mandatory policies, had to create convenient conditions for obtaining them.
In addition, Turumbekov emphasized that insurance companies are required to consider claims for insurance payments within 30 days from the moment of receiving all necessary documents.
“According to the law, within 30 days we must either make the insurance payment or provide a justified refusal,” he added.
He also urged drivers not to delay the issuance of the OSAGO policy, noting that insurance helps avoid significant financial losses in the event of a traffic accident.
