The Jogorku Kenesh reviewed in the first reading a bill aimed at improving the system of mandatory housing insurance.

- During today's session of the Jogorku Kenesh, held on February 26, the parliamentarians reviewed the draft law "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of the Kyrgyz Republic," which pertains to changes in the Civil Code and the Law "On Mandatory Insurance of Residential Premises Against Fire and Natural Disasters."

The information on this draft law was presented by Marat Pirnazarov, the chairman of the State Service for Regulation and Supervision of the Financial Market under the Ministry of Economy and Commerce.

As Pirnazarov noted, the main goal of the draft law is to improve the system of mandatory insurance for housing against fires and natural disasters.

The draft law aims to enhance the financial stability of the insurance system and protect the rights of citizens, as well as to ensure timely and guaranteed insurance payouts.
