- During the meeting of the Committee of the Jogorku Kenesh on Finance, Budget, Entrepreneurship, and Competition Development, which took place on March 2, 2026, Deputy Ismanali Joroev emphasized the issues related to the export of Kyrgyz goods to the EAEU countries.

He highlighted that goods coming from abroad enter the country without significant obstacles, while domestic products face serious difficulties when being exported.

The deputy particularly noted the long lines of trucks at the border with Kazakhstan.

“When will we be able to transport our goods freely within the EAEU?” he asked.

Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce Sultan Akhmatov explained that the delays are due to internal problems in Russia and Kazakhstan, which complicate transit.

“If they continue to violate EAEU rules and create barriers, we are ready to defend our interests. We will prepare the necessary documents and send them to the Eurasian Economic Commission,” Akhmatov noted.

The agenda also included a draft protocol on amendments to the Agreement concerning criminal and administrative liability for violations of customs legislation of the customs union and the member countries of this union dated July 5, 2010 (the document is submitted for approval).
