In Batken Region, over 1,500 km of power lines will be repaired

- In the Batken region, the implementation of a project for the modernization and repair of electrical networks has begun, in preparation for the autumn-winter season of 2026–2027. This was reported by the press service of the Batken Electric Networks Enterprise.

According to information from the enterprise, major repairs will be carried out on 284 transformers with a voltage of 6–10/0.4 kV, while 1632 transformers will receive maintenance.

As part of the work, activities for overhead power lines are also planned: major repairs will cover 1538 km of 6–10/0.4 kV lines, while 3847 km of lines will undergo maintenance.

Regarding high-voltage lines of 220/110/35 kV, 1400 km of networks will be surveyed, of which 20 km will undergo major repairs, and 1380 km will be subject to current repairs. In addition, the installation of 8772 new glass insulators is planned.

The work will also affect substations: 45 of them will undergo scheduled current repairs, while 5 substations will await major repairs.

Furthermore, as part of the automation of the electricity transmission system in 2026, it is planned to install 54,587 smart metering devices (AMR) in the Batken region. Additionally, in some settlements, 32 km of self-supporting insulated wires SIP-2 and SIP-3 will be laid.
