As of today, it has become known that there are 34 facilities under the management of the city administration for which the necessary permits have not been issued. It has been revealed that construction was carried out without proper design, and none of the facilities have completed documentation.
Minister Nurdana Oruntaev, accompanied by the mayor of Osh, Janarbek Akayev, held a meeting with representatives of the private construction sector.
The meeting was organized in an open dialogue format, where important issues were discussed and responses were provided to the builders' inquiries.
Meeting participants noted that after the change in the city administration's leadership, problems at construction sites became evident. In particular, builders reported delays in payments for previously agreed verbal contracts.
By order of President Sadyr Japarov, the Ministry of Construction has taken control of the situation and is conducting a detailed review of issues related to the activities of construction companies, as reported by the ministry.
“All construction projects in Osh will be completed, and the facilities under the management of the city administration will be under the control of the Ministry of Construction. By special order of the president, the financing issues of construction companies will be resolved from the republican budget,” stated Nurdana Oruntaev.
