Since the beginning of 2026, three individuals who were on international wanted lists through Interpol have been detained by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan as a result of operational-search activities.
According to information provided by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, a citizen identified as G. D., born in 1979, was detained in Bishkek. He was wanted internationally for causing serious bodily harm and illegal border crossing. After his detention, he was sent to the Investigative Service of the Internal Affairs Department of the First May District of the capital.
At the international airport "Manas," a foreign citizen identified as S. V., born in 1988, was arrested, who was also on an international wanted list. He is accused of facilitating the illegal entry and stay of foreign citizens, fraudulently obtaining counterfeit documents, and participating in a criminal organization, according to French criminal law. After his arrest, he was taken to the Investigative Service of the Internal Affairs Department of the Sokuluk District in the Chui Region.
Additionally, in Bishkek, using the "Safe City" video surveillance system, A. K., born in 1986, was detained. He was wanted for fraud. After his arrest, he was also sent to the Investigative Service of the Internal Affairs Department of the First May District of the city.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs emphasizes that the work of identifying and detaining individuals wanted internationally is a constant priority. The measures taken allow for the effective establishment of the whereabouts of those wanted and the necessary procedural decisions to be made in accordance with the law.
