The Minister of Science and Education of Kyrgyzstan and the Ambassador of Hungary Discussed Cooperation Issues

The Minister of Science, Higher Education, and Innovations Gulzat Isamatova met with the Ambassador of Hungary to Kyrgyzstan, Sandor Dorogi.

In a press release from the ministry, it is noted that during the meeting, the current state and future directions of cooperation in the fields of science, higher education, and innovations were discussed. Participants talked about possible joint activities planned for 2026, as well as issues of academic mobility and strengthening ties between universities.

An important agenda item was the discussion of the Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship program, initiated by the Hungarian side. This program provides an opportunity for citizens of Kyrgyzstan to study at leading universities in Hungary annually.

As a result of the meeting, the parties expressed their intention to deepen strategic partnership, expand educational exchanges, and develop scientific and technical cooperation, identifying priority areas for joint work and agreeing on further interaction, as emphasized by the Ministry of Science.
