The press service of the Cabinet reported that these vehicles were purchased for 44 million 800 thousand soms. The purpose of the purchase was to strengthen the material and technical base of the Academy's scientific institutions for conducting field research in areas such as archaeology, geology, geophysics, and biology.
During the ceremony of handing over the vehicles, Deputy Baysalov emphasized that the National Academy of Sciences receives significant support from the state: the Academy building has undergone a complete renovation, and staff salaries have doubled. He noted that the new vehicles will facilitate scientific research and expeditions in hard-to-reach and remote areas of the country, as well as assist in fulfilling state scientific and scientific-technical tasks.
In addition, Baysalov added that the state will continue to pay attention to the development of the scientific sector. He noted that important strategic tasks lie ahead for the scientific community, the resolution of which requires innovative approaches and a real contribution to economic growth.
