Five schools in the Manas District are in emergency condition

On January 15, Minister of Education Dogdurkul Kendirbaeva, during her visit to the Talas region, inspected several schools in the Manas district that are in critical condition.

The first site was the Bala-Saruu secondary school, which was built in 1957 and designed for 220 students. However, it currently has 397 students enrolled. The minister instructed to prepare a proposal for the construction of a new educational institution.

The next school on the list was the Kara-Archa school, which consists of three buildings and is located 20 km from the district center.

Kendirbaeva also visited the Pokrovskaya secondary school in the village of Semetey and the school named after Isak Otunbaev in the village of Kenesh. Currently, there are 878 students studying at the Pokrovskaya school, while the school named after I. Otunbaev has 180 students.

Additionally, the minister noted the Manas secondary school, built in 1964, which is in need of major repairs.

As part of her visit, Kendirbaeva met with teachers and familiarized herself with new textbooks, as well as how lessons are conducted using the "Altyn-Kazyq" laptops and digital educational platforms.
