At the joint meeting of the parliamentary groups "Eldik" and "Ala-Too" on January 30, Nilufar Alimjanova raised the issue of the possibility of replacing driver's licenses for Kyrgyz citizens working as taxi drivers in Russia.

She noted that not all cities in Russia have representations of Kyrgyzstan and asked what to do in this case. "The situation could negatively impact them if they have to return to their homeland to replace their licenses," the deputy added.

Deputy Foreign Minister Almaz Imangaziev responded to her inquiry, stating that there are a sufficient number of diplomatic and consular institutions in Russia.

He also pointed out that personal presence is required for replacing driver's licenses due to the FaceID requirement.

Alimjanova urged the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to intensify its work, including on issues related to informing citizens.
