A lecture on the art of Japan will be held at the IZO Museum

On January 31, a lecture dedicated to the art of Japan will take place at the National Museum of Fine Arts named after Gapar Aitiev.

According to museum representatives, the event will discuss the works of famous Japanese artists, as well as key stages in the development of art, including such movements as ukiyo-e prints.

“We will present works that reflect the essence of Japanese art, from deep historical traditions to modern forms such as anime,” the press release states.

This lecture is part of a course covering the history of world art. The lecturer will be Akzhibek Beishebayeva, the leading researcher of the museum and art historian.
