On January 25, a new cycle of art sessions titled "The Art of Hope" will begin at the National Museum of Fine Arts named after Gapar Aitiev. The press service of the Ministry of Culture reports on this event.

The main idea and concept of the cycle is to consider painting as a means of supporting the individual, their dignity, and inner strength. The themes of the cycle encompass concepts such as resilience, empathy, acceptance, and hope. Artists not only documented crises but also helped people to recognize their value again, finding beauty in everyday life and offering new perspectives on the world, as well as creatively reflecting on ways to navigate difficult situations.

The first art session will be dedicated to the theme "Creativity and Healing." During the meeting, we will discuss how painting, drawing on the creativity and biography of Mexican artist Frida Kahlo, can become a source of strength that helps overcome illness and life challenges.

The program of the art session includes mini-lectures, interactive elements, and discussions.

The art session will be conducted by art historian and junior researcher at the KNMII, Nargiz Sataeva. The sessions will be held in Kyrgyz, in groups of up to 20 people, by prior registration. Each session will last 1.5 hours.
