
The opening of the championship took place under the leadership of Kazybek Moldazhiyev, the director of the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports under the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan. He emphasized that archery holds an important place in the country both within national and Olympic sports, contributing to the development of skills among young archers, strengthening their competitive spirit, and enhancing the international image of Kyrgyzstan.
Among the attendees were Melis Tobokelov, the director of the Directorate of Olympic Sports, Elnura Osmonalieva, the president of the Archery Federation, as well as coaches and athletes.
The goal of the championship is to popularize archery and support both national and Olympic sports. There is also an emphasis on involving youth in a healthy lifestyle, identifying the best athletes, and enhancing their level of professionalism.
The competitions are conducted according to the standards of the World Archery Federation (WA).
