
On the agenda was a public-private partnership project for the construction of the Makmal – Karakol railway, an agreement for which was signed in February 2025. The implementation of this project is aimed at developing the country's internal railway network and creating opportunities for integration into the Trans-Eurasian transport route.
During the discussions, special attention was paid to the introduction of modern and innovative technologies, as well as best global practices in the field of railway transport. It is expected that the implementation of the project will not only improve transport connectivity between regions but also strengthen the transit potential of the Kyrgyz Republic, creating new opportunities for economic growth.
Ravshan Sabirov, head of the National Investment Agency, noted the strategic importance of this project for the socio-economic progress of the country and confirmed full support for its implementation.
The parties expressed their interest in continuing mutually beneficial cooperation and agreed to further advance this project.
