An avalanche struck the Jylgyr pasture in the Kara-Kulja district
As a result of the avalanche in the Kara-Kulja district of the Osh region, the body of a 37-year-old man was found. The search was conducted at the Jylgyr pasture, as reported by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
The incident occurred on January 31, when a group of local residents decided to go to the pasture for hunting. At that moment, an avalanche descended, and one of the men was buried under the snow.
According to the press service, the search and rescue operation involved 229 people, including 19 emergency service employees with drones, as well as representatives from the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, local authorities, and residents using special equipment.
