Kyrgyzstan continues to demonstrate positive dynamics in population growth. According to the latest data from the National Statistical Committee, by the end of 2025, the permanent population of the republic will reach about 7.4 million people. Over the past year, the growth rate was 1.5%, which significantly exceeds the average indicators of other Eurasian countries.
One of the distinctive features of this demographic growth is its organic nature: the increase in the number of residents is due not to migration, but to high birth rates. This leads to new challenges for the government regarding the expansion of social infrastructure, the creation of new jobs, and the integration of youth into the economic life of the country, which is becoming increasingly younger each year.
