The meeting between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, Jeenbek Kulubaev, and the U.S. Special Envoy for South and Central Asia, Sergio Gor, took place today.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the main focus of the negotiations was on the state and future of Kyrgyz-American relations.

The parties also discussed issues of regional cooperation, particularly within the framework of the "Central Asia - U.S." ("C5+1") format. They discussed ways to strengthen trade, economic, and investment ties, as well as opportunities to deepen partnership in the dialogue economic platform "B5+1," as stated in the official message.

Particular attention was paid to visa issues and the importance of creating comfortable conditions for expanding business, educational, and cultural exchanges between the two countries.

At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to continue constructive dialogue and work together on all areas of bilateral cooperation that are of mutual interest.
