Today, the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, held a meeting with Sergio Gor, the U.S. Special Envoy for South and Central Asia, as well as with representatives of American businesses. The event took place at the "Yntymak Ordo" center.

The President noted that Kyrgyzstan adheres to a multi-vector foreign economic policy and highly values cooperation with the United States. He emphasized the republic's openness to investors and entrepreneurs, regardless of their nationality, guaranteeing equal conditions and support from the state.

The American delegation that attended the meeting is the largest in the history of bilateral relations between Kyrgyzstan and the U.S., highlighting the role of the American-Kyrgyz Business Council.

Japarov also reported on the stable growth of the country's economy and the implementation of significant infrastructure, energy, and industrial projects aimed at long-term development.

According to him, one of the key areas of economic policy is increasing investment potential. In this regard, Kyrgyzstan is working to improve the investment climate, expand tax incentives, simplify business registration, and reduce administrative barriers for businesses.

It was also noted that in 2025, the international rating agency Standard & Poor’s Global Ratings assigned Kyrgyzstan a sovereign credit rating of B+ with a "stable" outlook. The President emphasized that this indicates the effectiveness of the reforms being implemented and the increasing trust from investors.

Sergio Gor, for his part, noted that the U.S. is showing growing interest in the region and sees opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation. He expressed the American side's readiness to expand support tools for investment interaction and showed interest in implementing joint projects.

During the meeting, representatives of American companies and organizations presented their proposals for promising areas of cooperation. Among them are the American-Kyrgyz Business Council, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Boeing, Coca-Cola Company, Franklin Templeton, GE Healthcare, and Mooney Group.

As a result of the negotiations, the parties confirmed their mutual intentions to strengthen economic dialogue between Kyrgyzstan and the U.S. and to develop practical cooperation between government structures and businesses.

It is also worth noting that a two-day business forum "B5+1" is currently taking place in Bishkek, gathering representatives from the business circles and government bodies of Central Asian countries and the United States.

The "B5+1" format is aimed at developing regional economic cooperation, deepening interaction between business and government structures, as well as implementing joint investment and trade-economic projects.
