Sadyr Japarov met with the U.S. Special Envoy and American businessmen in Bishkek

Today, February 4, at the "Yntymak Ordo" residence, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov, met with the U.S. Special Representative for South and Central Asia, Sergio Gor, and representatives of American businesses. During the meeting, issues related to investment cooperation were discussed.

The President noted that Kyrgyzstan is actively developing a multi-vector foreign policy and places great importance on its relations with the United States. He emphasized that the country is open to foreign investors and provides equal conditions for business regardless of the country of origin.

Japarov also pointed out that the current delegation of American businesses is the largest in the history of bilateral relations and highlighted the importance of the U.S.-Kyrgyz Business Council. He expressed Kyrgyzstan's readiness to be a reliable partner for American companies in the region.

Sergio Gor, for his part, noted the significant potential of Kyrgyzstan and stated the U.S. government's intention to expand support for investment projects. He characterized the meeting as a starting point for further cooperation.

Representatives from companies such as Boeing, Coca-Cola Company, Franklin Templeton, GE Healthcare, and Mooney Group participated in the discussions.

As a result of the negotiations, both sides confirmed their interest in strengthening economic dialogue and developing practical cooperation between the public and private sectors of the two countries.
