The State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports, in collaboration with the Triathlon Federation of Kyrgyzstan, has announced the launch of a new social-sports project – the reality show "Jany Jol". This project aims to break stereotypes about the "office" lifestyle and showcase the transformation of ordinary workers into real athletes.
The main goal of the show is to engage civil servants in active sports and demonstrate their journey from the first steps to the finish line in serious distances. Over the course of six and a half months, viewers will be able to follow the participants' training, culminating in their participation in the amateur Asian Triathlon Cup scheduled for September 13.
As part of the project, 10 individuals will be selected from state, municipal, and budget organizations. Participants must meet certain criteria: be between the ages of 28 and 38, have at least five years of experience in civil service, and have no professional sports experience. They must also be ready for intensive training, which will take place at least three times a week, and undergo a mandatory medical examination.
The entire training process of the participants will be filmed and broadcast as a series with the motto "From the office to victory". Applications for participation in the show will be accepted from February 2 to 15, after which the competitive selection will take place from February 16 to 18. The official start of training and filming is scheduled for March 1.
