Ramadan will begin on February 19
The Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kyrgyzstan (DUMK) has announced the start of the month of Ramadan, which will begin on February 19. This information has been confirmed by the administration.
The decision was made at the meeting of the fatwa council of the participating countries of the TMA, held in Samarkand (Uzbekistan).
On the evening of February 18, prayers will be held in all mosques across the country, which traditionally precede the beginning of the holy month.
DUMK urges believers to prepare for fasting and adhere to religious prescriptions.
