Luxury train on the route Beijing - Tashkent will pass through Kyrgyzstan

A new luxurious railway route called "The Great Silk Road by Train" has been announced by the British tour operator Golden Eagle Luxury Trains. This information was published in the international edition of Travel and Tour World.

The duration of the journey is 22 days, and its route covers five countries: China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan. The total length of the journey reaches 3,862 kilometers, starting in Beijing and ending in Tashkent.

The tour's excursion program focuses on significant historical and cultural landmarks of the ancient Silk Road. In China, travelers will be able to visit attractions such as the Forbidden City, the Great Wall of China, the Terracotta Army in Xi'an, and the Mogao Caves in Dunhuang.

In Uzbekistan, the route includes visits to cities such as Samarkand, Bukhara, and Khiva, which hold important historical significance and are listed as UNESCO World Heritage sites.

In addition to the excursions, the program includes extra activities, including camel riding in the Gobi Desert and a private flight to Almaty.

The official materials from Golden Eagle Luxury Trains have not yet specified which cities and stations the train will pass through in Kyrgyzstan and where stops will be organized.

Prices for the journey start at $50,700 per person based on double occupancy. The cost includes accommodation, meals, excursions, transfers, and insurance.

The first departure is scheduled for the period from September 21 to October 12, 2026.
