A citizen of Kyrgyzstan has been detained in the USA, accused of a traffic accident that resulted in four fatalities in Indiana.
During a phone call, diplomats provided B.B. with comprehensive consular-legal advice, as well as clear recommendations regarding further steps in accordance with American law.
At the moment, the Ministry is clarifying the exact location of B.B. Once the information is confirmed, the staff of the General Consulate plans to travel for a personal meeting with him.
The situation is under special control by both the Ministry and the diplomatic representation in the USA. Diplomats maintain regular contact with the citizen’s relatives and continue to provide comprehensive consular-legal assistance within their competence.
