The Ministry of Internal Affairs reports the emergence of fake information on the internet.
According to information from the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, fake video materials are appearing online, in which, on behalf of official representatives, including those from law enforcement agencies, claims are made about the possibility of earning 60,000 to 150,000 soms per week through some investment platform.
“These video materials are created using artificial intelligence technologies and have no relation to real statements. We emphasize that this information is false,” the Ministry of Internal Affairs warns.
The Ministry urges citizens to be cautious, not to believe suspicious promises of easy earnings, to avoid clicking on unreliable links, and not to share their personal data with third parties.
In addition, an investigation has been initiated regarding the spread of this fake content, and a corresponding legal assessment will be provided based on the results.
