Due to worsening weather conditions and heavy snowfall, the Ministry of Transport and Communications has announced temporary restrictions on the movement of heavy trucks at the Too-Ashuu pass.
According to the agency's information, as of 03:40 on February 11, restrictions for heavy trucks were introduced on the Bishkek—Osh highway, which remain in effect as of 08:30.
Specialists from the road services "Kyrgyzavtozhol-North" and "Kyrgyzavtozhol-South" are working around the clock to ensure road clearing and the application of a sand and salt mixture on the highways.
Despite the snow on the Suusamyr—Talas—Taraz road, the passage at the Otmok pass remains open.
The Ministry of Transport urges drivers to avoid entering the oncoming lane, strictly follow traffic rules, and carry necessary winter equipment.
