They were previously detained for 15 days due to insults directed at women
Anar Abdullayev and Renatko, Russian bloggers, have become the subject of a new statement accusing them of inciting interethnic hatred. This information was provided by the Almaty police department.
Previously, these streamers were sentenced to 15 days and apologized for their offensive comments about Kazakh women during a broadcast.
The statement to law enforcement was submitted by activist Dias Kuzairev, who expressed dissatisfaction with the insufficiency of the administrative measure. He noted that the bloggers had previously committed similar offenses, including public insults on national grounds and the use of derogatory terms.
In his statement, Kuzairev claims: “The actions of the mentioned individuals have humiliated the honor and dignity of the Kazakh people on national grounds, which contributed to an increase in interethnic tension and statements aimed at inciting hatred.”
He strongly demands that an examination of the streamers' statements be conducted to study the content of their broadcasts.
