The new speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh promised to justify the trust of the deputies
After his election as the speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh, Marlen Mamataliyev delivered his first speech, expressing gratitude to President Sadyr Japarov and all the deputies for their trust.
He emphasized that he perceives his new role as a serious responsibility and intends to use all his knowledge and strength for the benefit of the people.
“I am sincerely grateful to President Sadyr Japarov and the parliamentary corps for their trust. We have received enormous hopes from the people, and I will do everything possible to justify them not just with words, but with concrete actions,” he noted.
Mamataliyev stated that the unity of the state is the most important value, and it should not be divided into regions. All 90 deputies, according to him, should work as a single team.
“No divisions or conflicts are permissible. We must remain one team,” added the new speaker.
He also outlined his plans to improve internal discipline in the parliament, continue digitalization, enhance the efficiency of committee work, and optimize legislative processes.
In addition, he promised to carefully consider all initiatives from the deputies, hold round tables, and achieve practical results on each of the raised issues.
Special attention will be paid to the quality development of legislation aimed at supporting youth and the population as a whole, emphasized Mamataliyev.
