According to the agency, the avalanche descended on a section of the alternative North–South road (the Aral–Kazaraman segment) in the range of 243–296 km and amounted to about 50,000 m³.
Currently, snow removal work is underway. The road is closed, with snow cover ranging from 40 to 50 cm.
The Kazaraman–Ak-Talchat road (km 40–99) is also temporarily closed, with a snow thickness of 40–45 cm.
On the Birlik–Aral–Karl-Marx highway, the snow cover reaches 60–70 cm.
On the Kazaraman–Jalal-Abad road, the snow cover is 50–65 cm.
Cleaning operations are being carried out using a motor grader.
