At a recent conference, the director of the Public Fund "Institute of Consulting and Law," Aizhan Dzhumanalieva, proposed the idea of creating a state fund for alimony payments in Kyrgyzstan.
She noted that the state could take on the responsibility for child support payments, with funds being collected from those who evade their alimony obligations.
In Dzhumanalieva's opinion, this approach could significantly improve discipline among alimony non-payers. Similar models are already successfully functioning in countries such as France and Uzbekistan.
