Present at the ceremony were the mayor of Talas, Nurgazy Asylbekov, veterans, representatives of government structures, and the public. As part of the event, Afghan veterans were awarded honorary certificates and letters of gratitude for their dedication and courage in serving the Motherland.
Speaking to those gathered, Nurgazy Asylbekov expressed gratitude to the veterans for their feats. "We bow our heads before the courage of the heroes and their families. I wish you health, long life, and a peaceful sky," the mayor noted.
