
The funds are aimed at improving the state of atmospheric air in the country.
The Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision has announced the allocation of 60 million dollars to Kyrgyzstan for improving air quality.
According to the agency's information, as part of the implementation of the government’s directive and international cooperation, with the support of KOICA, a project titled "Improving Air Quality in the Kyrgyz Republic" has been launched with a budget of 10 million dollars, which will be implemented until 2028.
Additionally, with the help of the World Bank, another project for improving air quality worth 50 million dollars is also starting.
In this regard, a new composition of the interdepartmental commission has been approved, 10 meetings have been held, and field meetings have been organized in Osh and Manas to discuss current issues.
