The State Institution 'Kyzmat' has introduced a new service for the citizens of Kyrgyzstan, allowing them to exchange their civil passport (2020 model) through the mobile application 'Tündük'. Now, the application submission process is available online.
Applications for exchange are accepted in the standard mode, and the document production time is 18 working days.
Conditions for submitting an online application:
- if the passport has expired;
- in case of changes to personal data;
- in case of loss or damage to the document.
New features of the service
When submitting an application, users can change the transliteration of their surnames and first names into Latin script. According to the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers dated August 20, 2025, No. 508, the applicant has the right to choose whether to include a patronymic in the foreign passport. However, in the ID card, the patronymic is mandatory.
Uploading a photo
The service provides modern identification methods. The photo can be:
taken from the phone's gallery;
captured directly in the application;
obtained at the Public Service Center (PSC) using a unique barcode (photography at the centers is free of charge).
Photos must meet ICAO requirements: white background, neutral facial expression, and no head coverings (except those that do not obscure the face shape for religious reasons). The file size must be such that it forms a photo size of 35×45 millimeters.
