The State Committee for National Security (GKNB) has denied rumors regarding the existence of nicknames for its employees. This statement was made by the press center of the agency.
“In light of the ongoing discussion in the media regarding video materials and articles that mention unofficial nicknames of GKNB employees, we inform the following:
In our organization, only official titles and positions recognized by law are strictly used. Information about any nicknames is not true and is unrelated to the committee's personnel matters. Such designations, if they arise, do so outside the framework of official activities and do not reflect the position of our agency.
According to available data, a fabricated video has been released into the public domain, containing invented nicknames and distorted facts. These materials are being disseminated by interested parties with the aim of forming a false opinion about the activities of the GKNB of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The committee operates in strict accordance with the law, adheres to the principles of official discipline and professional ethics. We urge journalists and social media users to rely on official sources and avoid spreading unverified information that could harm the reputation of government agencies,” the GKNB noted.
