33-year-old Azim mentioned that he is originally from Jeyish and has five siblings in his family. In 2017, he completed his studies at the Mining Institute, earning a degree as a mining engineer.
“I had never done any drawing before; I just collected matchsticks. One day, I thought about how to use such a large number of matchsticks, and the idea came to create a portrait of the president, who works for the benefit of our country. I published my proposal on my social media page, and now I am very happy that I was able to present my creative work to our president,” he shared.
The created portrait is a composition made from 3,100 matchsticks that he collected by hand.
