The mother of the victim admitted that she was in a state of stress and made a mistake in identifying the participants of the traffic accident
Buruul Nazarbaeva, a resident of the Alamudun district, who previously claimed a possible connection between relatives of a deputy of the Bishkek City Council and the akim of the Alamudun district with the accident in which her daughter was injured, has now stated that this is not the case.
She sent an official letter to the deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh, Seidbek Atambaev, clarifying that her conclusions about the family ties were made as a result of severe stress and confusion.
“I saw a person who resembled deputy Kazybek Ergeshov, and based on that, I made hasty conclusions,” she said, adding that she regrets mentioning the names of individuals.
In addition, Nazarbaeva called for a thorough investigation of the incident, including the use of surveillance cameras, and requests law enforcement agencies to provide a legal assessment of the actions of the traffic police officers.
It should be noted that earlier Atambaev reported that he was approached by the mother of the victim from the traffic accident that occurred at the intersection of 7 April and Ablesov streets on February 23. In this incident, a Honda Fit collided at high speed with a Lexus SUV, driven by an 18-year-old girl. The deputy also expressed concern about possible attempts to conceal evidence by the akim of the Alamudun district and deputy Kazybek Ergeshov.
Later, Ergeshov denied rumors that his relatives were involved in this traffic accident, clarifying that he does not have an 18-year-old daughter and is not aware of the details of the incident. He also intends to demand a retraction of the circulated information.
The Chui Regional Department of Internal Affairs confirmed the fact of the traffic accident that occurred on February 23 at around 09:50 in the village of Koy-Tash. According to the police, a Lexus RX-350, driven by a 2006-born driver, collided with a Honda Fit, driven by a 2001-born driver. Both drivers were sober.
As a result of the collision, both vehicles sustained serious damage. The driver of the Honda Fit was hospitalized, while the second participant in the accident received medical assistance on site.
Forensic, automotive, and other examinations have been appointed, based on the results of which a legal assessment of the incident will be provided.
